CouponMom.....RE:House Party? Or anyone else that has done one ?
SO after I saw coupon moms thread to host a house party I applied for one, and just got chosen..
How did you do, did they send some good freebies to hand out and lure people over with 
I think it will be fun even if I only have a couple people (it's a June weekend) so busy for so many, but I will try, hopefully it will be fun, share advise for me to make it fun. YAY!

That's exactly what you do! I hosted an Orville Redenbacher Maybelline Lipstick Jungle Houseparty. They sent me a huge box with all these gifts for the guests - popcorm, popcorn bowls, Maybelline cosmetics and the season premier video of Lipstick Jungle. It was great. I invited 15 of my friends over, we had drinks, made the popcorn, watched the show and had a great evening! It was fun. YOu can create a website off the house party site and send out invites that way, post pictures, talk to others hosting a party. After the party, they email you a questionnaire to fill out. It was so much fun - AND FREE!!! HAVE FUN!!!

I did the Sex and the City one. They sent me the movie, recipe cards, martini glasses and a bunch of coupons for Alpine Lace (the sponsor)

I've had a few -- I always make sure I have plenty of wine on hand.
I hate to tell you but most people just want to hang and chat, then like to get the freebies at the end. But for the coffee party for example, nobody wanted coffee, never mind doing a taste test. So just treat it like a regular party with some extra goodies!!
