Covering those gray hairs!!!
Yikes...as if turning 30 in a month wasn't bad enough. I have gray hairs all over the place!!
I've been holding off getting my hair done, so I'll have it done nicely for my cruise in October. Now, if I want to cover those hairs, I guess I have to dye my whole head one color and then do my highlights OR will highlights cover some of the grays?

My mom is a hairdresser. Sometimes what she does is dye my whole head one color and then highlights it afterwards, followed by a toner.
Maybe if you wanted you could dye it now a color you'd want to blend in w/ your highlights later?

I can't stand them...and the sad part..the dye doesn't really stick to my grays for some reason. I leave the die on for almost 45 minutes and still two days later the grays are showing through. Why am I being punished!!
But the highlights should definitely cover your grays..no need to color first!!

I had that problem with the "drug store" type of dyes....you should try a professional salon...I found they cover my grays much better than any box stuff i could buy!
BTW...thanks for this thread...it reminded me to call and make my hair cut and color appt for sat!!

Dont feel bad. Im 31 and I have the same problems!
