I was supposed to make it tom to bring to thanksgiving....ended up making it today and have been eating it ever since

16 oz sour cream, a packet of ranch, 1 cup cheddar cheese and bacon. They say to let it sit in fridge for 24 hrs before serving....it is better after this time, but still amazing before

I add scalions. I make my own potato chips and this is the dip I make to go with them. Its amazeballs.

I use about 12-15 slices of home cooked bacon, or a full bag of bacon bits. I prefer the home cooked bacon because it's less salty, but the bag is fine too. Just don't use the bacon bits that come in a jar. They don't taste as good. I think they're too wet.
