Crafts/activities table at party advice
Im having a party for my dd and theres going to be about 15 kids there with a wide age range. 1.5-11. The party is 4 hours long.
I have 2 games for them to play plus a mini bounce house and a face painter coming. I was also going to put a bunch of crafts on the table for them to also keep themselves busy along with coloring books/crayons.
About how many crafts should I put out?
I was also thinking about getting some beach balls for them to toss around? Is that silly? It has absolutely nothing to do with her theme.

Re: Crafts/activities table at party advice
Best thing I saw at a party in terms of craft was play doh.
Worst thing was paint.
My almost 3 year old would not be amazed by coloring books. It would not occupy him for more than 2 minutes.
Sounds like its outdoors. A water table is a big hit with little ones. The 8 and up crowd will be occupied with totally different stuff. Maybe a game station indoors.

Re: Crafts/activities table at party advice
Hi, I'm also doing a crafts table at DS's birthday party. I'm doing water coloring books but it won't be messy. My MIL found these coloring books where you put water in the handle of the brush and water comes out when you push down on the paper. The color magically appears when it gets wet. That occupied DS for at least 1/2 hour during Easter. My party is indoors. I plan on bringing a small slide, hoola hoops and some matchbox cars for the boys with a roadmap rug. I'm also getting a clown. She will bring a cotton candy machine, do face painting, tattoos, balloon twisting. My BIL is great at juggling. He said he'll do that to entertain the kids. DS is nuts about juggling. I also saw online someone did balloon ping pong, basically a paper plate taped to paint stir and you hit the balloon with it. Hope this helps!
