cramping and lowerback pain after iui 8dpo?

hey everybody.. i was hoping someone would have some insight?
I did my ovidrel trigger last thursday (1/8/09) night and my iui was saturday(1/10) morning..i'm now 8 dpo and i've been getting some cramping yesterday and today(almost like menstral cramps not sure) and today everyonce in a while a piercing lower back pain, but it goes away soon after. Should I be worried? or is this maybe implantation/af coming? this was my first iui with gonal-f and luveris and trigger so i'm not sure what to expect, after 4 cycles this is the first time i actually got to do the iui lol. all info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

I do not think it's AF...it may be an increase in progesterone...that's what I get...

I've had that sometimes - even a week after iui, its hard to tell if its from the trigger, the drugs, or implantation! We feel so many things constantly. Best of luck to you though!

Are you on suppositories? It could be that or it could be you're implanting!!!!

no i'm not on progesterone or supposortories. thanks for your help, i'm a lil less worried now lol.. now all i have to do is keep patient lol

I had slight cramping everyday after the IUI until I got my period. The day of the IUI being the WORST! I called the nurse at REs office and she said it was normal being that you are on meds and your hormones are all over the place.
