Cramping Question
Hi..I'm 4wks PG and been having cramping on and off that feels like AF. I think this is normal...but one thing that makes me worried is when I bend over or lean against the bathroom vanity when I look in the mirror or if I lean up after Ive been laying down I get a bad cramping in my abdomen. It goes away after a few seconds but it hurst. Is this normal??

Re: Cramping Question
Totally normal. I had cramping all the time in the beginning- which was so painful! I was nervous about it too and the Dr. said it was my uterus growing and was nothing to worry about.

Re: Cramping Question
Thank you! I'm so nervous!! I'm having my 2nd beta tomorrow morning, I'm praying my levels have doubled. I think I'll feel much better after that.
Its just weird how the cramping gets worse when I bend down or bend over.

Re: Cramping Question
It is funny that you mention that the cramping occurs when you are bending. When I was 4 weeks pregnant (I didn't even know it yet) I was in Tampa Bay at the Yankees Spring Training practice game. I remember that everytime I leaned against the fence to try to catch a ball I would get a cramp and think....well...af is due to arrive. Turns out I was pregnant! I think it is totally normal!!
Congratulations, by the way, I am so happy for you nd DH!

Re: Cramping Question
I had early cramping. One night it was so bad I swore something had to be wrong but it wasn't. I haven't spotted once my entire pregnancy.

Re: Cramping Question
It's totally normal... think about it this way - it's your body stretching inside to accomodate the little growing bean inside you. I say, stretch away!

Re: Cramping Question
I know that I was cramping so much in those first few weeks, I was freaking out everytime I went to the ladies room, sure I wouuld see that Af had arrived.. but she never did
I still get cramping here and there, though it has gotten better now that I'm at @10 weeks... its weird and scary at first but it only means things are expanding and growing and your uterus is making room for your little peanut

Re: Cramping Question
I can't thank you all enough!!!!! You really put my mind at ease!
I went for my 2nd beta this morning and they usually get back to me around 11:30-12noon. I'm praying that my beta doubled...and that this is a sticky bean...I think I'll feel much better after I hear that.
