Cranky pants
Ryan got 2 shots yesterday....
Today he is sooooo grumpy, spitting up ALOT, and his poop smells VILE (the sick smell)
He had pneumocacyl (however you spell it) and a hib shot....
Now last time he a the pneumawhatever shot- he got that fever and threw up and so on... and the dr. told me that he must be sick- because thats not a side effect....
I just find it weird, that the day after he had that same shot, we are going through something similar......
Just because its not a "usual" side effect- dosent mean it cant be a side effect for my baby right?
Do we think he is getting sick? Or this is all from shots????

My DS gets those two shots at the same time too. He as well, the day after always runs a fever for the day (even with giving tylenol), is cranky and does a lot of sleeping. Both times now (since he has had it twice) he has ended up with cold like symptoms as well. I believe it is from the shots. I don't think your doctor was being fair to say "they are not side effects", because every baby can react differently to any shots they recieve.

Gianna just had her 18 month shot and both days after she was a crab-apple. I gave her tylenol and today (3rd day) she seems like herself.

Well Ryan just threw up (this is JUST LIKE) the last time he got these shots...
I called the Dr. and the nurse told me- that it there is a very small precent that some do get like this after this shot- She says since its happened both times- She would say my son falls into that small precent....
I pray thats with this is all about....

Sounds like a shot reaction to me. Hope he feels better soon.
Miranda was misery after the Prevnar and I only allow her to get one shot at a time. Her leg took forever to heal after that shot as well. I hate that she will have to have it again.
