Crayola Factory in Pa - worth the drive?
My kids love crayons, markers and all things Crayola.
Is the Crayola Factory worth a 2hr detour?

I would not make it as a destination trip, but part of a larger trip to the region, it would be fun. They just completed a major reno and I am sorry to say that I preferred it before the reno. But, my kids really did enjoy it. Look for my review of it on the travel board. HTH
If you are looking for things to do in that area check out Northlandz train museum and the outlet mall in Flemington, NJ.

We are driving up to NY for Thanksgiving weekend and thought we would do a 1 night detour to Lancaster area. DH thinks we should drive up through philly and stop by the museums there.

I would do the Phili Please Touch Children's Museum. It is 100% one of the best museums we have been to.

We love the Please Touch and also Adventure Aquarium right outside of Philly. We have been to both these places 3-4 times but have never been to Crayola Factory.
Would you say Crayola Factory is not worth the detour if we could just do Please Touch and/or Adventure Aquarium?

I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Definitely a cute stop if you are already in the area though
