Crazy feeling
I am so happy the my son is here and love him to no end. I love holding him and seeing DH with him.........but I miss being pregnant. I had a pretty easy going pregnancy and now have a easy going baby (he even slept for 5 hours last night and he is 2 weeks old) I don't know how to explain it - I miss feeling him move and kick inside me. I miss the feeling of it just being him and me.....does this make sense?

Of course it makes sense. We have all felt that to some degree I think. Don't try and make sense of all that you are feeling right now....too many hormones playing with your sanity.  Enjoy your little bundle and get your rest!

DD is 8.5 months, and I have felt like this every single day since giving birth. Wouldn't trade her for the world, obviously, but I realllllllly miss being pregnant

I don't miss being pregnant at all! But, I know that we are very hormonal when we first give birth and all our feelings are amplified.

Yes, I know exactly how you feel...maybe that's why I ended up with 2 under 2!  Can't wait to do it again!

i don't miss being pregnant in the least because my pregnancy was horrid... but i do miss the idea of it just being him and me...
when ds wakes up early every morning i sneak out of bed, pick him up, and crawl into bed with him in the guest room. i cuddle him and kiss him and fall back to sleep with him. somehow having that time with him brings me back to when it was just him and me.
as time passes i'm sure you'll find some new "mommy and me" time too...

It makes sense. I am 10 months PP and I still feel this way sometimes. i loved being preggo....but nothing is better than the 1st time you hear your DC laugh
