Crazy Thought
my mother and I were pondering this...if breast milk is good to help a baby with immunity...would it help those with immunity defincy problems or the elderly?

Re: Crazy Thought
Interesting.... but where would it come from? A mom that produces milk but feeds their baby formula I suppose.

my mother joke that a bunch of horney old men would hang out at the park and chase around the breast fedding moms.
we don't actaully think that a woman would donate her milk for this cause...we just wondered if it could help

No, I think because the baby is from the mom, they get their immunity from the mother directly. I don't think it would work, for ex. if you took breast milk from a nursing mother and gave it to a sick elderly person. I am no expert by any means but I don't think it works that way.

Agreed. I don't think breast milk itself has any significance to the immunity of a child, but more so the breast milk received from the mother and the vitamins, minerals and such picked up.
