Creative ideas for Baby Shower Centerpiece - PLEASE HELP!
So my brother's wife is pregnant with their first baby! woohoo! Her shower is the end of February. She is NUTS about animals, ANY KIND! The baby's bedding is barn animals and EVERYTHING on their registry involves an animal, whether it be a rainforest bouncer or a COW (yes cow) humidifier.
Our "theme" is animals, but I'm tying baking into it (she likes to bake).
The invites were yellow (don't know sex) with patches of baby animals. The favors are hand decorated cookies in the shapes of the baby animals on the invites (giraffe, teddy bear, lion, duck, bunny).
I am STUMPED with centerpieces! I have no clue how to tie it all in with this theme. I also want it to be fun for everyone and good enough for someone to take home as we're doing the "measure the belly" game (my SIL is SUPER skinny, so we thought it would be fun) and the centerpiece will be the prize!
HELP! Thanks!

How about one of those old fashioned tin milk pails (or those tin basin tubs)? You can paint on some barnyard animals, and fill with a cut array of mixed flowers (not roses. More like a "field look". Can't explain it!! )
OH...you can also buy those shaped cake pans (see picture. It's a lion but you get the idea). Fill it with a cake mix, frosting, pastry bag and tips, sprinkles, cooling racks. Tie it up with cello wrap and a pretty ribbon. That will combine the baking with the animal theme- sooooo cute!!! Image Attachment(s):

Is it just 1 centerpiece? That's the way it sounds from your post. If so, you can do an Edible Arrangements centerpiece. My sister got me one when I had DS. I had a whole safari theme...his bedroom, my baby shower, etc. so she got me this basket. Mine had a lion instead, and it was a piggy bank. Really cute!

Is this too simplistic? They has a rubber duckies in vases or fishbowls of water. It was cute.

I totally forgot....for mine, we had large stuffed animals from Madagascar on each table. But they were mine to keep for the nursery.
