Re: Credit score
The only site that gives a FICO score is myfico.com
There are other sites that will give a score but its not the actual FICO score that lenders use.
You can only get 2 out of the 3 credit scores but I don't remember which one is the one consumers can't get.

Freecreditreports.com but you have to pay for a credit score through one of the 3 credit agencies.
Do not use this site. They make you put ina credit card. When you "forget" they keep charging you.
Go to annualcreditreport.com.
Its free, and no credit card required. you can check your credit from the agency's once a year for free. That's what this site does.
I spread it out every 4 months. One in Jan, one in May and One in Sept. That way I have a free report every 3 months.
Your credit REPORT is NOT your FICO score.
Your FICO score is DIFFERENT between the 3 agency's, and different things affect your FICO score from the agency's.
I check my FICO from myfico.com. When I do pay for it, I always get a coupon code and get like 25% off.
I know a great deal about credit and fixing credit. I know a great deal on credit cards, late payments, credit history, length, FICO etc. FM me with questions.

All of this.
Know too, though, that banks/lenders can purchase different scoring models. For example, there is a scoring model for the auto lending industry which rates you specific to their parameters, and your score with that model may be higher or lower than your FICO score.
