Crib position in room?
This is a dumb question-- but I am trying to figure out furniture placement in Sasha's room for the new house.
Do you think it matters where it is-- mainly in relation to the door, so they can see you easily when you come in?

Re: Crib position in room?
no, i think relation to windows is more important (sunlight, winds, etc).

Re: Crib position in room?
We put it on an inner wall so that there wouldn't be a draft (since she was born in the winter). If you have new windows that aren't drafty, I don't think it matters all that much.

Re: Crib position in room?
I didn't think about the draft issue!!
I am not even sure what to do about that-- since we are moving in summer and won't know til the winter time..
I did think about windows-- but I don't think it will make a major difference the two walls I am thinking of.

Re: Crib position in room?
Our windows are paper thin, so I put him far away from them... and that just happens to be right next to the door LOL. I also didn't want him to be in reach of anything, like cords from the blinds, or outlets...for some reason my house has a few high outlets... ??
