Crib spinoff - Anyone getting a light or natural wood crib?

A lot of the furniture styles we like come in dark colors. For various reasons, we've decided to go with light colored wood.

But lighter wood isn't that popular anymore, and we're having such a hard time finding a style that we like, made of good quality, in light wood that doesn't cost a fortune.

We didnt like what we saw in BRU, and BBB only had one set that we liked enough to consider getting. Bellini was too expensive for us. I'd like to have a few more options before buying.

Is it worth taking a trip to Behrs? Are there other furniture stores to consider in Suffolk?

If you've chosen light wood furniture, please post pics!

Thanks.

I would recommend checking out Behrs.

I want lighter wood and they had nice sets available.

They also had sets at different price ranges, which was nice.

We told them what color wood we wanted & the price range and he took us to each set that matched that criteria. Which was much less overwhelming for us.

I am a light wood girl myself. Wound up getting a great Stanley set from Behr's. There were definitely multiple things for me to look at in terms of natural/light finishes.

Good luck

We're planning on getting a maple colored set from JCP. We're just waiting & playing the shipping/in-stock game with JCP. My DH has made friends with a woman at JCP so she'll get it shipped from PA (the nearest shipping location for the crib) to us.Chat Icon Chat Icon
