IMO, out. I HATE these shoes, never did I like them, they are freaking gardening shoes, so my theory is unless you are in the garden they should stay off your feet.

I HOPE they're out. I think they're the most heinous shoes EVER. DH almost goes into a rage when he sees people wearing them
On kids they're sort of cute, but on adults

I hate them. They remind me of Jelly Shoes from the 80's. I was stupid enough to wear Jelly Shoes in the 80's, I won't do it now.

I agree these shoes are sooo ugly for adults.. my neices and nephew have them and I think they are cute for kids... but I must admitt, I've tried them on and they are SOOO comfortable!!!!!!!!

For kids, definitley in, my first grade class loves them, even some of my boys are wearing them! Adults, not so much. Although the ballet flat ones are actually not that bad.

I hope they are *out* are far as people wearing them and thinking they are "fashionable" ... but I did just order $9 from target.com to use as my "middle of the night putting the dogs out shoes" (which is what my Uggs are for in the winter!).
Anyway, I would never wear them in front of people!!!

I think they are ugly too, but apparently they must be in cause I see so many girls wearing them. I did biy a pair for my baby niece beacuse I think they are cute with kids/

I think it's all relative. I'm sure in NY they are not that in but here in CO and all over the west coast they are HOT! I love them!!
