Crocs the best summer shoes?

I asked a few times and I know it's early, but we'll be away in Aruba the end of Feb. Last summer DS wasn't walking so we didn't have to worry. He just wore Robeez and started walking in the Fall.

Now I need some sandals or something to get for the trip. Are Crocs really that much better for their feet? They seem uncomfortable. I'm hoping they'll be out soon with more choices b/c Spring stuff will be out soon and I will have to get his foot measured

We have never had crocs, but my DS has worn Keens for the last 2 summers and they are great--washable & stay on his feet when he runs. Now that he is older I anticipate them being a little tough to put on himself, but I think they are great!

I LOVE Crocs for my kids. They both live in the during the summer. They are FAR from being uncomfortable. They are so light and allow your kids feet to breathe.

There are so many options to choose from now.....

I'm not a fan of crocs. I prefer more of the sneaker type of sandal (they are more secure to me).

My kids wear Crocs and I get them from Crocs.com
They run pretty good sales. I always buy mine way in advance. Right around Christmas they had a buy one, get one 50% off that someone here posted about. I got 2 pairs for $15 and free shipping. I bought them for the upcoming summer.

i like the easyness of crocs...but my DD has really skinny heals so they are not the best everyday option for her. i prefer closed toed sandals for her that velcro.

I buy crocs, he throws them on. but as ugly as they are, Keene H20s are the way to go.

They are the best summer shoe.

Since 18 mos old, every summer, this shoe is worn all the time.

My kids live in Crocs year round.

They have great sales. I get them on crocs.com. Google for coupon codes.

I like Crocs for the beach and pool areas. Otherwise I prefer regular sandals. I like that I can dry them and that is it. So I think for vacation it is prefect. Otherwise I would go to the striderite outlet and get him a pair that fit now and will most likely fit him until the at least June that way he has something.

Crocs.com was just have a big sale. I would check it out.

DS wore something like these this past summer: timberland hypertrail. His were more OPEN though - more like sandals.

Chloe wore her crocs all last summer and she seemed very comfortable. we got them at stride rite because I wanted to try them on to get the best size.
