Cruise Advice Needed........

DH and I are considering booking a last minute cruise to either Mexico or the E.Caribbean......The prices are just about the same on NCL,Royal Caribbean, and Holland America. Can anyone offer any feedback on the cruiselines and the ports of Mexico or E. Caribbean?TIA

We went to the Mexican Rivera last December, and we were not thrilled with the ports we went to.

Acapulco
Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo
Manzanillo.

I have heard the other port like Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta are better.

I enjoyed the Western Caribbean cruise more (mexico, grandcayman, etc.) If it's the cruise that goes to Cozumel, I would definitely pick that one. I've done the Eastern and it was nice, but I thought there was more to do in the Western and the water was warmer in December!

As far as cruiselines I'd recommend RC over NCL by leaps and bounds
