Cruising with an infant
Anyone have recommendations for a cruisline? We were thinking of going away Christmas/New Years.

I think carnival and royal caribbean charge the same amount for infants as adults so we were thinking we'd probably use Norweigan when we do cruise with Sydney. They only charge the port fees and taxes.

I haven't looked into it too much until today but like pugmama said I saw a few do charge the same as an adult. We may NOT be cruising after all. That's just INSANE. I could understand 1/2 price for a toddler even but full price for an infant!

We actually just came back from a Carnival cruise. John was NOT full price, he was charged the 3rd passenger rate, I think we paid about $400 for him

that is crazy! we were thinking of doing a carnival cruise early next year but not if we have to pay full price!!!
