I went there in February. I stayed at the Cascades Lodge. I don't know where the lake is. I didn't see it. I actually didn't even see the other hotel.

Pros: Clean, beautiful property, nice amenities, attentive staff

Cons: Completely mismanaged and disorganized. The staff really tries to help with what they can but there is only so much they can do. When we went, it was still Covid precautions so it was difficult to get appointments at the spa. Anything you need an appointment or reservation for, make sure you do way ahead of time. The pool (which is beautiful) had limited time slots so we had to go wait to get in to ensure we got a spot. Not a big deal. Took a road soda and hung out and waited.

Food is terrible. There was a really great restaurant right outside of the property...i think it was called Milano's. It was BYOB and the food was good. Old school Italian.

Also, our room didn't come with a refrigerator which I found super annoying. It was cold out though so I just stuck everything out on the balcony
