I just found this thread too from doing a search on CT...
I live in Stamford...grew up on LI. Been in CT a little over 2 yrs now after living in NYC for 10 yrs out of college.
Due with my 1st in June...going to be a SAHM.
I am still learning about the area and don't have many friends in CT. I wish there was a site like this for CT - I'm afraid I'll be clueless once the baby is here and I need to eventually look into mommy and me classes and stuff like that.
Nice to see this thread - I will bookmark it.

 no #2 yet -- Sophia JUST turned 6 months!!!
We are getting closer to actually MOVING into our house though!!! We bought a house in the King Street Neighborhood of Danbury. We've been working on it for about a month. Carpet comes saturday, tiles going down sunday. Hardwoods being refinished next week. All the furniture arrives on the 27th!  We are SO excited to move in!!!!
Anyone else around the Danbury area?!

I announced it on the boards a few weeks ago. Unexpected, but we are thrilled just the same!
My DD and your DD are only 3 months apart- we should GTG sometime this summer. How far is the valley region from Guilford/Madison?

My DD and your DD are only 3 months apart- we should GTG sometime this summer. How far is the valley region from Guilford/Madison?
We should DEFINITELY GTG... Your only like 35-40 min away from me. My midwives were based in Madision, there is a GORGEOUS beach over by you Hammonhasset State park! We LOVE it there!!!

CT moms check in! How are we all doing??
I am expecting DC#2 on Sept. 24. I find out on Tuesday if we are having a girl or a boy!! I will be a stay at home mom after DC#2. I currently work in Westport. We are moving tomorrow to the Trumbull area. Has there been any more word on a GTG?? Hope everyone is doing well

Danbury Mommy here 
We moved in about a month ago, STILL renovating. Although -- im told that never ends  
Sophia is 7.5 months
she rolls, sits, has ONE tooth, will stand holding for varying lengths of time (although I watch her like a hawk)
She just learned to clap hands! AND we're eagerly anticipating the birth of her cousin Jack, who was due TODAY!
She weights 18lbs and is 27.5" long
We were told on friday that she'll need a helmet due to Brachycephaly so im struggling with that right now. We go for a full evaluation on Monday in Clinton (Cranial Technologies) WISH US LUCK!!!!
does anyone know of any good Peds in the Danbury-ish area? Also, any good daycares? We still work in the Bronx and will keep her in daycare there until we transfer to work up here but im trying to keep a head up on it
