Cucumber Rolls
I am going through serious sushi withdrawal---but are cucumber rolls okay>

Absolutely!! But limit your soy intake b/c of all the sodium (you could get bloated). Enjoy!

Totally ok- as are California rolls, shrimp rolls, tempura rolls- anything that's been steamed or cooked.

I'd say they are ok themselves, but I'd be a bit concerned that they are prepared on the same surface as the raw fish...

That's what I was thinking as well so I am avoiding them.
I already have an order into my FIL. He is to deliver veggie rolls, turkey cold cuts, tuna and everything else I can't eat to the hospital the day after I deliver

That's what I was thinking as well so I am avoiding them.

Just wait - the further along in your pregnancy you get the longer that list will be!!!

Since vegetarians eat vegetarian sushi like that, it is perfectly reasonable to request they prepare stuff like cucumber sushi, avocado sushi, etc - on a clean surface with a clean knife....
No questions asked...
We do it all the time! We are vegans and LOVE (well - I DID love) avocado sushi - now I have a slight aversion to it, dont know why....
