Curious... Glucose Test Results.
I was trying to find normal result #'s online, and all I was able to find was info on the 130 or the 140 cut off.
If you passed the 1 hour-- what was your #?? Just wanted to see how my # compares.

130-140 sounds like the #s for a reg. glucose test for diabetes, not gestational diabetes. I know GD diabetes #s are lower than reg. diabetes.. but not sure the #s. I know when i took my bloodwork on last pregnancy the doc told me anything below 100 was good.
eta: and my morning bloodtest fasting was to be below 90,

My Dr. told me the cutoff for GD was 130 also. My fasting was 82 and then after the drink it was 115.
ETA: that I was also told 130 was the conservative cutoff, many places use 140

You get blood drawn an hour after you drink the glucola.
My doctor's cut-off was 140, anything above that and you need the 3 hour. :P
If you're beyond 200 you failed - like I did - and are diagnosed with GD and asked to see a specialist and nutritionist. :(

I did the fasting one by myself, my father is diabetic so I was curious and used his meter, the 115 was from the DR. The meter is probably less accurate than the DR; so I take that # with a grain of salt

My doctor and the hospital I am delivering at (north shore manhasset) uses 140 as their number....anything over that is failing....

For the 1hr my doc uses the conservative 130 number. I got a 131 and went on to pass the 3hr twice with no problem.
I think the fasting number is like 90 or below

I scored a 110 - i'm not sure what my drs cutoff number was.. My test was at 7am and i hadn't eaten or drank anything since the night before. HTH!

You are correct. The cut off for GD is below 140. I had GD so I know.

My doctor's office uses 135 as the cutoff. I got a 154. I passed the 3 hour, but I have no idea what my numbers were. If you passed, I wouldn't worry about what your actual number was.
