Curious to know
Do you have to use FMU when taking a HPT? or is it just recommended

Re: Curious to know
They say its better, but it is not necessary. (According to what I used, First Repsonse.) I actually never took a test in the am, always waited until I got home from work.

I'm oblivious and if you ever read anything I post my cycles are unpredictable, so I didn't take notice when I skipped 2 periods!

Re: Curious to know
Its recommended because the urine is less diluted. I'm pretty sure you'd get similar results if you went about 4 hours without drinking anything or using the bathroom (sort of the same as with the OPKs).
I usually try to use FMU though just to be sure.

Re: Curious to know
if your period is late - it doesn't matter....
if you are testing early or on the DAY OF - it matters and you need FMU...
i tested 2 days late and tested positive on 3 tests at 10:00 at night.

Honestly, I dont think it needs to be FMU, just at least hold it for at least 4 hours. BTW: I meant to post under my real name...lol
