Curling Iron

After getting my hair done this weekend...I realize how much I love it curly. For special occasions, I would love to save me some money and curl it myself. So ladies, what's a good curling iron for someone who has pin straight hair?

Re: Curling Iron

I love my Hot Tools 1.5" barrel.

My hairdresser used it on me last year - I loved it so much, I bought my own. It was cheap (under $25 with an ulta coupon), but it really works well.

You may want to buy the 1" if you want curls like the wedding pics... the 1.5" makes fat curls.

Re: Curling Iron

I have a conair steam iron. I like wavy curls, they come out like tight curls but then I brush them out for volume. It takes no time I put my hair up in a high ponytail and curl it then let it down and brush it out. I'll try to find a pic.Chat Icon

Re: Curling Iron

I know you posted looking for a curling iron... but these are steam w/ a foam curler and much less damaging on your hair...

I love them... I think they are around $25.

Also - here is a pic of my hair curly (this was the end of the night so the curls dropped a bit).

I agree - I've owned many curling irons and Hot Tools is my favorite.
