What size curling iron barrel do you use for lose curls?

Depending on how thich your hair is 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch.
My hair is super fine and soft- so if I go TOO big, the curl just falls right out in minutes.

Curling Iron Size
I use 1 1/4. My hair is also super fine and baby soft and 1 1/2 does basically nothing. It will slightly curl the ends for a few minutes and then it will be straight.

Same as others- I have a 1 1/2 and while the curl falls out, it gives a nice gentle flip/wave. It looks really pretty, but a curl it is not.
