Curling Wand
So I just bought one, a cheap-o one from Duane Reade, to see how I like it. I am really bad at doing my own hair but I wanted to give it a shot. It comes with the heat proof glove. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to using it. I mean it sounds so simple, but so does a regular curling iron and I wasn't very good with that.  Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

watch a few youtube tutorials. They show you how to hold the wand, etc. I was lost until I watched a few and now I am getting the hang of it. It took me a few tries though!

Let us know how it goes....I've been thinking about getting one too, since I have never been able to use a traditional curling iron properly for some reason.
