Current oil prices
Our contract with Slomin's is up 3/7. We have a great price at $1.99/gal. I am guessing prices have gone way up 
Has anyone locked in recently? With who and how much?

I spoke to Meenan the other day and they are $3.39. I think all these companies are in kahootz because it never seems right when you call for pricing. I am with Meenan and we have $2.59 right now, I am sure they have gone up, but still...

I paid $2.46 through CODFUEL.COM today (North Pole, who always seems to have the most competitive price in recent months.) No contract though. I may call them to see what their contract rates are ...

I just paid $2.63 with HEAT USA using Windsor Fuel.
Not bad considering I also have a free service contract (something you dont get paying COD).
$3.39 lock for Meenan? hahaha NOT.

I signed with Petro a month ago. I did the ceiling with them. The highest my oil can go this season is $3.04. My first delivery I paid $2.86 and the most recent one a week ago was $2.79. I have been very happy with their customer service.
Plus, we have a contract with them.
Play hardball. Call around and get the cheapest price you can find. Then, call the company you want (we wanted Petro) and tell them that their price was high and you like their service, and you received such a price elsewhere and would like that company (you want) to match it. Worked for us with Petro.

I just got oil from North Pole Fuel yesterday for $2.38. That was through CODFUEL.com for 200 gallons.
