Custom Built Safety Gates?
Does anyone know someone that builds custom safety gates? I have a wide hallway and I cant find a safety gate that fits.
TIA
ETA: need it to be 10 ft wide. dh wants pressure mounted.

How wide is the hallway? I have this one (By Summer). It goes up to 12 feet (as is) but you can even buy extension pieces to make it longer if you need. I bought it at Babies R Us.

How do you like this one? Is it a pressure gate?
We went shopping for gates yesterday and only got one gate for one entrance, but we need a much longer one for the other.
We were so frusturated. LOL.
We don't want to put holes in the wall, so, DH wants to stick to pressure gates.
Sorry I kind of hijacked.

No, it is not pressure mounted, it is screwed to the wall. I believe they make one that is also pressure mounted but I haven't seen it in any stores. I love it1 It is very easy for us to open but not DS. It is right as you walk into my house so we were very concerned with how it looks. it is neutral colors and we are very pleased.
I installed it and it was very easy to install. They give you these guides that you just use.

i saw that gate and i like it, but DH wants one that is pressure mounted so we dont put holes in the wall.
i need one that goes up to 10 ft...

I may be wrong, but I think if a gate is 10' wide, there will be so much give in the center of the gate that a pressure-mounted gate will just fall over. It would need to be made of thick metal in order to not flex. Any amount of flex will make the gate just come off the wall.

To add to what GoldenRod said, holes are easily fixable  . A little spackle and paint and you are all good!
