customer service RAVE- Bloomingdales
So DH and I went to Bloomies at 59th street to exchange something. We were walking out and must have dropped our bag. We didn't get outside the store when we realized this. So we went back to where we could have dropped the bag, and it was gone. We went to security, lost and found, nothing. So while i am talkign to the very helpful woman at the info booth, DH went to an associate or manager and explained what happened. THe guy gave DH a new shirt. No questions ask. HE just looked at the receipt which showed the transaction took place about 5 minutes earlier.
Now that is customer service.

That's great ! I've had a few really great instances where some people go above and beyond and I usually ask for their name and write a letter so they get some sort of recognition or at the very least tells the store they are doing a great job.

That's great! But, I have a feeling that a sales associate may have found the bag and retagged the item. When I worked retail, we did that. But, if I customer came back in to ask, we gave them a "new" item, no questions asked.
