cysts after iui!? UPDATE
i have my cd3 appt tomorrow to start our second round of IUI with injectables. for those that have done injectables, did you have any cysts after? i'm so worried that we'll have to skip a cycle  i googled it and wished i hadn't because now it seems common......is it?
thanks girls for all your responses and encouragement. just got home from our appointment and everything looked good. i start injectables tonight and we are officially onto IUI #2. i was totally being just crazy and paranoid about the cysts!

no, no cysts. why do you think you will have them? if anything, i think cysts are more common after clomid, not injectables. do not worry, good luck!

I have one small cyst from Clomid ... RE and my OB aren't worried about its affect on my pregnancy.

if you had smaller follies that didn't mature or ovulate - they can turn into cysts. i wouldnt necessarily worry about it though. its common but its not something you really need to worry about. i did 7 injectable cycles and the only time i had an issue was the first cycle where i hyperstimmed and had a lot of leftover follies because i never triggered. otherwise i never had any issues.

Out of 6 total iui cycles that happened to me once and I had to take the next month off. I wouldn't be worried about that!! Good luck!!

thanks girls i wasn't worried about it until i started googling and then read a bunch of stories about women getting cysts so i started to freak out (as usual). i'm normally so laid back about life and yet when it comes to trying to have a healthy pregnancy i feel like a nut job
i'm sure i'll feel better after we talk to dr. b tomorrow but i somehow can't kick the sadness of the first IUI not working. ugh.

I once had a leftover follie. I think they call that a cyst. It was on clomid though. Sometimes the follies re-fill with fluid, but as long as your estrogen is not high, you can proceed. If the estrogen is high then that means a follie didn't rupture.

haha! yup google is the devil. i told dr. b of my obsessive googling and he told me to stop but i can't help myself!!!

He actually told me last week he is going to disable all his patients google accounts and make us take and pass a course called "google by neurotics" lol....I guess we are all in the same crazy boat
