I know!!!
dh and I were driving home from VA and he had just gotten his new car and we were sitting in traffic. We OnStar'd for directions to the nearest DQ! They said "Mr ***, you really want some ice cream don't you" lol
Why do they have commercials for them when there are none up here..Just like Sonics

They have one right over the Jersey border from where my parents live in NYS.
Honestly, I'm not that impressed with them. The last few times I've gone, the soft icecream was like milk, not even frozen. What a waste

I know!!! I used to think the same thing when I lived on LI. I live in NJ and there are some but I rarely ever get to go.
Same thing with Sonic! Why do we get those commercials but no Sonics out here!
Aaaand Carrabba's! We need more Carrabba's!

I think I'm the only person who doesn't like cracker Barrell.
We were in Illinois last year for softball playoffs and on our way back to the hotel we stopped at a DQ for ice cream.
THEY DIDN'T HAVE CHOCOLATE!!! They offered me vanilla with chocolate syrup. yup. How does DQ not have chocolate???

There is Carrabba's on Staten Island.
There used to be a DQ in Sound Beach, but it closed aaaaggggeeees ago....
And I would LOVE Sonic here, MIL lives in Florida and usually we get off the plane, get our rental car and find a Sonic

I've never had Sonic, but I had In & Out Burger in Vegas. Now THEY were good!

When we were on Maui last year we went to DQ and they didnt have chocolate either!!!! They had chocolate on the Big Island but apparently NOT on Maui!

I was just in VA this weekend and had DQ - I wasn't that impressed with it. I think Carvel is much better.
