Damn you SONIC!!!!
And your commercials in New York!!! Especially the ones for FRIED MAC & CHEESE BALLS!!!!
They made me look forward to my hoiday trip to South Carolina all the more than normal.
Well, how dare they be a limited time menu item!!!!!!!!!!!! BASTIDS!!! 
Tots and cheesecake bites did not make up for it.

I never understood why we get those commercials.
And I just returned from South Carolina and didn't get any Sonic... or Chick-fil-A ...or Cracker Barrel ...
but I got Carrabba's!! I got to have Carrabba's 3 times last month!!! Twice when visiting LI, and once in SC!
But damn, Sonic looks tooo good. All fast food chains need to carry Tater Tots.

I did get my non-NY fast food fill - Chick Fil-A, Arby's (twice!!), Sonic and Krystal!
I'm STILLl bloated and my skin is a greasy mess!!!

oooh I haven't had Krystal...looks just like White Castle so I doubt I'd be into it.
man...but fried mac & cheese balls...daaaamn. Sounds dreamy.
Hopefully Sonic will make its way to the tri-state area like Quiznos finally did (I first tried that in the midwest I think). When Quiznos finally made it this way, I was soooo flipping happy!

The owner of the company my mom works for also owns a Krystal and Quizno's so she gets a 20% employee discount!! So we had to take advantage!!
We also went to Atlanta Bread Company which seems to be the southern version of Panera ... it wasn't bad.

Where were you in SC? We were in Batesburg AKA Nowheresville. Outside of Columbia- giving outside a new meaning to the word. OMG I was dying. Took a half hour to go anywhere. My MIL and BIL went an hour out of our way to go furniture shopping with me!
We got to go to Waffle House though!
OMG 20% discount- freaking awesome!

Yes, my mother lives in Surfside Beach  ... SUPERMARKETVILLE!!! (I remember when my aunt first moved down, there was a Harris Teter down 17, now there's a Food Lion, Bi-Lo, Piggly Wiggly, etc on nearly ever corner!!!!).

I did *lurve* the Chunky Baked Potato Soup I had!! The bread was definitely not as good as Panera though ... the bread I had my sandwich on was tasty but a little soft (not crunchy/crusty like "Northerners" seem to prefer) and DH bought a loaf early in the week to make french toast with but was weird just as "bread".

I wanted to go to Sonic when we were in Myrtle Beach, but we never made it there!
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Checkers too!! Thank god there is one way our in like Shirley area....
But does not help me since I am in RI! Why don;t thye just sell frozen fries in the grocery store? I did see they sold frozern burgers at Super Wal MArt

We have a Sonic here in Virginia Beach and I have ahd the fried Mac and Cheese, it was okay. I have had better. I miss most of the fast food places on LI, like Checkers and White Castle.

I drive past a Chick-Fil-A, Cracker Barrel, Arby's and Sonic everyday. Today we went to the Quaker Steak & Lube. Yummmmy!! We also got Orange Julius at the mall.

Oh and CT has Cracker Barrel!
Though Sonic is really good... I liked their cherry limeaide...blah blah blah. I don't remember the name since my SIL ordered it for me but it was good!!

Since moving to NC 6 months ago, we now have easy access to Sonic, Cracker Barrel, Carrabbas and Chick Fil A...
Sonic is ok...the mac and cheese bites are really nothing to write home about (The TGI Friday's ones are WAY better)
Carrabbas has kept us sane--it's the only GOOD italian food around here...
Cracker Barrel and Chick Fil A are the best thing ever, and more than make up for the C R A P P Y pizza!
