Danielle's Father
I am completely numb. My father in law was so alive. He was 60 years old, Ate everything healthy and excersized every single day. Thursday night, March 6th after going out to dinner and having a great time with his wife, and neighbors, he went to bed and had a massive heart attack.
I just cannot believe that he will not be there anymore when we go to the house or when we go to any of the family gatherings.
He was so young, and my mother in law and him had so many plans....They wanted to travel and enjoy there elder years.......Its just not fair.
Tonight was the first day of the wake and there had to be at least 500 people there.....He was sooo loved. I am going to miss him soooo....He felt like a second father to me, since I lost my father in 2006. I so did not want Danielle to have to go through losing a parent. It still feels like yesterday that I lost both my mom and my dad.

So sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. I lost my Dad 6 months ago only 6 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. He was only 61 and he and my mom had so many plans and I had so many plans for him to take my son to baseball games and watch him play t-ball. All of that was taken away from us and it is terribly unfair and raw.
Hugs to you and your family while you deal with this untimely sorrow.

Thank you so much. I am so sorry for your loss too. My father in law was so close with his grand children. My sister in laws children had friday night sleep overs at Poppy's......I feel so bad for them that......it is sooo sad. They do not understand why he is not going to be there anymore and it is so unfair to them

I truly sorry! Having loss both of my parents like you. You know how much it hurts and you hate to see a love one have to go thru it!

So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 2 years ago and he was only 62. TOO young......

Scott, I am so sorry for Danielle's and your loss. I work with your MIL. She is the sweetest person in the world. She was just telling us how they were just about to celebrate their anniversary. Life just isn't fair sometimes.

This is by far the most heartbreaking thing for me. DS was the light of "Pops" life and he still doesn't understand and still asks how Pop will get back from heaven. Its the worst saddness one can feel.
But on a cute note, he associates heaven with the North Pole and came up with the idea that Pop is now with Santa helping to make all of his toys.
