Date nights
Last night DH and I went out for our anniversary and my mom watched the baby. The entire time I would look at DH and just see my DS and we talked about him the whole time. When does it get easier to leave them or does it never get easier?

Re: Date nights
The first time Dh and I went out, all we talked about was Jared. Now, when we go out, we mention that we miss him once to each other and then it's on with our night. It gets easier the more you do it.

Re: Date nights
It gets easier. We try to get out once a month or everyother month. I used to go out b/c everyone was telling us we need to go out. Now I look forward to it and it's nice to have a one on one conversation without cutting up anyones food or picking up macaroni off the floor!

Re: Date nights
Actually, the first few times were easier for me than it is now...as far as talking about him goes anyway. I feel like we talk about him more now when we are out.

Re: Date nights
For me it got easier at about a year. When I could leave him with my mom & not feel like guilty for going out. As for date nights, we still talk about them over dinner...actually we talk about them all of the time to each other even when we're at home.
