Date nights...
are a very very good thing.
I wish my sister lived close so she could babysit every weekend!
We went to Cozymel's for dinner and then saw Little Miss Sunshine and it was so much fun.
I love my EMily but I do sometimes miss the time to just worry about me and DH and know that Emily is at home in good hands.

 We had a date night too. My parents took Ava and we went to one of my favorite restaurants-Singletons. Then we saw Departed. It was excellent. It really is nice to have some time alone together.

It won't be anything super-exciting---just immediate family -- under 20 people. Just taking them out to lunch to have a little bit of time in honor of Emily.
I wish I could have done something huge but we'll do the big party when she's older and enjoy it.

That's great. Let us know how it goes. They were having a 40th party tonight. I told Dh, that when we have baby #2 that I want his/her christening party there. They didn't have any meat loaf tonight...that's my favorite. I had the penne ala vodka. It was good too. Enjoy the party and post some pix!

That's sounds really nice to me! I'm sure it's going to be a great time. It's nice that you have so much family close by.

DH and I had a date night too. We tried to go see the departed but it was sold out, so we went to Barnes & Noble got Starbucks and browsed through books, pretty lame but still good to get out.

Dh and I started to talk golf lessons together on Thursday nights. They are only an hour long and my mom comes over to put Sydney to bed. I am looking into what we can do when these end.

I wish I had family that could watch Gracie every weekend.
My MIL can watch her about once a month and my mom is so ill so she can't do it. Sometimes I get so sad that she is so ill and cannot be the "grandma" that I always thought she would be.
