David Duchovny Enters Rehab for Sex Addiction
David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction, his lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein, tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the actor says in an exclusive statement. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Téa Leoni since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

Honestly....I'm not too sure how I feel about people who claim to be a "sex addict"
Not sure if I buy it. It may very well be a sickness but I'm just not sure how I feel about the whole thing.

maybe since Hank gets so much more sex than Mulder ever did

When I read this thread, Eric Benet popped into my head. I remember seeing Halle Berry on Oprah talking about his "addiction" and how sex addiction is an "illness" I found that to be total BS!
I'd like to know if David went outside of his marriage or it was just excessive with Tea

Bottom line, he cheated, got caught and claimed to be a sex additct so his wife wouldn't leave him...
