Day Care Mommies
How many times a day do you call to check on your DC?

Re: Day Care Mommies
The first week it was about 2 times a day...now it's only to check up once in a while...usually when we give instructions or if he was having a bad day.

Re: Day Care Mommies
I don't.
I ask DH to call if we have to take care of something but that's it.

Re: Day Care Mommies
Generally, I can visit as they are walking distance from my office. I'll walk over once a day, most days and spend 30-60 minutes with her. When I can't, I'll call once a day.

It was my DS first day at daycare today(boy was it hard for me). I called once and my husband stopped by. I will probably call once a day for the next couple of weeks until I get used to this.

Re: Day Care Mommies
First week - I called twice a day. Then I called once a day for the next month. Now I usually don't call. They are VERY nice about calling as many times as you want, but I started to feel that all the time they were spending on the phone with me, could have been better spent tending to my child!!

Me either. I only call on Monday morning because DH drops them off that day and I call to make sure they got there.

Re: Day Care Mommies
Once a day, everyday - unless there's something wrong & then it could be more. I still hate bringing her to daycare, so I am overly obsessed - and this is a place that my sister is the asst. director! I don't even call to talk to her - just the woman in the infant room!
