Day Trip with DS what to pack and other travel questions...

Xavier is going on his first day trip with me this Sat. :) We're going to Philly for the day with my sister and cuz.

Besides the usual stuff in the diaper bag what else should I bring along, just in case? I'm bringing the Bjorn, snap and go, 2 full sets of clothes, a sleeping set of clothes, first aid kit, two blankets of different weights, sunscreen (which I have to buy), some of his toys, a couple of books, pacifiers, a few bibs, a smaller diaper bag while walking around and that is all I can think of for now. Anything else that I am forgetting?

Also how often should we stop so I can take him out of the car seat?

I would bring drinks and snacks for both you and DC. We went to Philly and got stuck in a 3 hour traffic jam. Thankfully I had some random snacks with me. We were between 2 exits for 3 hours and it was dinner time.

a sun hat and a warm hat

some tylenol just in case (although its prob in your 1st aid kit)

double the formula you'll actually need (if you FF)

I always leave 10 diapers and a package of wipes in my car
