Daycare and Holiday Gifts
Just trying to plan ahead....DS goes to daycare, he has one primary teacher, an assistant teacher and then 4 other girls who are there during the day depending on ratios needed. What is everyone giving their teachers for the holidays? Any suggestions??? TIA.

Re: Daycare and Holiday Gifts
I always give giftcards or money. I work in Day Care and my children attend.

Re: Daycare and Holiday Gifts
I give money - since I don't think they are paid enough and I think that would be more appreciated than a trinket.
I am debating on what to do since the head teacher left and they haven't replaced her yet and have PT people in the room and the head teacher from the adjoining room peaks in.

I would be interested to know this as well if someone could please send an FM (if they don't want to post).
Also, I don't want to give "cash" per se and don't know their last names for a check, so would a gift card be okay (like VISA so they could use it at many places)?

Last year we gave each teacher a VISA gC from the whole class. We are going to do the same again. I think we are giving in $30 each per teacher.

Re: Daycare and Holiday Gifts
I haven't decided what to get them yet. I pretty much have no money left after I pay the daycare bill so it will most likely be something small.

Re: Daycare and Holiday Gifts
Ava is in a 3 year old room, with 2 teachers. I got them each a $50 Target gift card and a bag of chocolates that say #1 Teacher on them.
