Daycare breakfast ideas for a 1 year old?
Any suggestions?
We were doing fruit & cereal, but the teacher said he is bored with the baby food and spitting the cereal back out at her. I brought in mini frozen pancakes today. Tomorrow if I have time I will scramble an egg and bring that in. Any other ideas? I don't want him to eat pancakes and waffles every day. We will still give him the fruit with the other thing.

We give DD yogurt every day for breakfast. She has a second breakfast later in the day, that is cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, etc.

At daycare they give the following:
Always some kind of fruit with
Waffle
Pancake
Cheerios
Cheese toast
At home we also do:
English Muffins
Mini blueberry muffins
flavored oatmeals
Other cereals (Kix or Chex)

fruit/yougurt mix with one of the following:
pancake (I usually make different fruit ones)
waffle
toast w/jelly
egg bake (eggs, shredded potato, shredded zucchini, chopped ham, shredded cheese)
Grilled chesse
I trade off every day so she's not bored with the same thing every day

Thanks ladies. I usually give Luke yogurt as lunch. For those that do oatmeal, I guess it is warm right? I think it is time we move forward from baby cereal and do regular oatmeal.

Yes. I buy the box of multi-flavored instant packets. You just need to add hot water. Honestly, I think my son would eat it cold too.
