daycare gift question
A parent is taking a small collection for gifts for the main teachers in my son's room. Should we get anything additional from just my family? Will most people add something else or not? What should we do about the teachers they decided not to include? Those are the teachers who only cover my son's room from time to time.

Re: daycare gift question
As a teacher, I alwasy gave something else when it came to my dd's daycare teachers and assistants. (but then again, i give little things most holidays too!) I even would get little things for those who cover, etc that dd really knows (now that she is a little older, she draws a pic with the gift!).
It stinks b/c there are so many ineviitably, but i know i appreciate the lil things i have been given over the years from my students.
if you want, you could also just do somehting edible for them all. (Last yr for new years we gave dd's two teachers a starbucks gc as there's one down the road and wrote "Have a parent approved drink for the new year on us" )
