DayCare Moms- How did you label your child's clothes?

I plan on using labels for his bottles. But how did you label the clothes and blankets that you leave there?

TIA!!

Re: DayCare Moms- How did you label your child's clothes?

I orderd clothing tattoos from www.stuckonyou.biz. They work well and I used them for her sheets a couple blankets and a couple of outfits. All have been through the laundry many times and they stay put. They are cute too. The bottle labels are awesome also. I've washed them so many times and they really stay put. I highly recommend them!!

Honestly though, since she's the only girl in her class I don't really label her stuff anymore since the pink clearly belongs to her Chat Icon

On the View Tuesday they had some baby favorites of Elizabeth and of the things was Mabel's Label's. She said they don't come off at all.

It did not run either for me.

My mom just ordered some labels for me that I will saw on his clothes. It's blue letters on white background. It's like a rubbon.

Same here...I use the clothing tattoos for Lucas' clothes, blankets, sheets and bibs. Everything we bring has a label (otherwise there is a greater chance that it doesn't come back). I use the vinyl labels for the bottles and caps.

Re: DayCare Moms- How did you label your child's clothes?

I wanted to be able to, 1) reuse his clothes for another boy, if I have one, 2) be able to pass on his stuff to friends and family, 3) if I have no other use, donate them. That being said, I didn't want to have his name in them and I didn't want to cut off the tags I wrote on so there was no size or care instructions for someone else. The iron on labels are permanent. So I got sew on labels from itsmineusa.com and I just put them on quickly with a big easy stitch that I can cut out easily when he's done with them and reuse the label too. I also got bottle labels from them which have been great because I got sick of the sharpie washing off and redoing it.

ETA If it is something with multiple labels and there's one I can cut off, I just use sharpie and it hasn't run on anything so far. I have also done this on his sheets and blankets since care for them is straightforward.
