daycare supplies?
What things did yo usend your DC with? What thigns did you leave at daycare?
I go back to work in September and was trying to get things together to send to daycare.
Shoud I send a sippy cup everyday or leave one there?
Also, what do you pack each day for food for a 8-9 month old who is just learning to eat finger foods? UGH!
Thanks everyone for your help and advice!

Re: daycare supplies?
I don't know if you are referring a daycare center or daycare is someone's home so I'll tell you both.
Daycare gives us a list.
Things I supply them with: diapers wipes tissues paper towels hand soap 2 extra outfits diaper rash cream blanket & pillow (they send it back every friday to be washed)
When Jake was my Dad's (4mos - 18 mos) I left tons of stuff there: an exersaucer, a pack n'play, blankets, bottles, toys, books, videos, sippy cup.
As for food - daycare feeds him lunch & snacks.

Re: daycare supplies?
I would recommend calling your daycare center now to get a list. Every place is different and it will take a little while to get everything you need.
Our daycare center had a very specific list on what they needed.
For lunch everyday I sent a small Mott's No Sugar Added Applesauce (they make different flavors) that they would feed her with a spoon. I would also send a slice of cheese that they would rip up for her to eat, chopped fruit (watermelon, blueberries, melon). I'm a huge fan of the Stop & Shop Nature's Promise (their organic brand) frozen mixed vegetables. I would just dump some (frozen) into a little tupperware container in the morning & by lunch they would be defrosted. No cutting up, they are already in tiny pieces. DD also likes edamame (again, frozen, put in container, defrosts by lunch).
Hope that helps!!

Re: daycare supplies?
Your daycare didn't give you a list? Most daycares don't let you leave things there, especially things that need to be washed since their water doesn't usually get hot enough to clean them.
Don't forget to put labels on everything. If she uses a paci, you will probably need a thing that attaches to her clothing (again labeled). Crib sheets like someone else said. Ask the daycare what size though since some use full size cribs, some use portable cribs.
I'm surprised to see "soap" and "paper towel" above. I would think the daycare would supply that.

I used this website for labels, rather than using a sharpie: stuck on you

The link does not work. I would be interested. I have to do some labels for DS also.

Re: daycare supplies?
Thanks everyone! Its a daycare that is just opening. I am going to their open house next weekend so I'll find out then. I have a general idea because she was in another daycare in the spring.
I just was really unsure of food I guess becasue she is now eating some baby food, so real food and I'm not even sure what to feed her at home sometimes!
I'm going to look into those labels too! Thanks!!

Re: daycare supplies?
Some centers will allow you to keep dry food (jars, cereal, puffs, bitter biscuits, etc) on hand for one week @ a time- antything that needs to be heated or refrigerated would have to go home at the end of each day...
If you want table food offered for lunch, lets say, then bring whatever it is, already prepared and cut to the size in which you know you she can handle..
For an infant I would keep a sleeve of diapers, a container of wipes, extra sheets/ blankets, pacifiers, and maybe even a 8oz can of unopen RTF(if FF) formula..
