DD finally pee'd on the potty...
3 accidents and not a drop of pee in the potty all morning and afternoon...and DD finally realized had to pee and sat on the potty and pee'd TWICE!!! 
the first day of potty training was no fun and i dont know how i am going to do it again tomorrow but at least part of the day has been a success.

woo hoo! I think I am chickening out this summer, at least for a few weeks longer since DD is showing no signs of being ready these days.

how old is your dd? my dd is 21 months and she keeps saying potty. she likes to take her diaper off and sit on it but not do anything on it. today she made a tiny tinkle into it, but then climbed on my and pooped all over me and my couch BLAH

DD is 26 months. we've been sitting on the potty since she was around 21 months with a diaper on everytime i use the bathroom but she has been reluctant to ever really use it. today i decided to just go with it and put on underwear, sit her on every 15-20 minutes after she drank, and ask her repeatedly. she's sort of getting the hang of it:)
