DD is acting out of the normal lately....has this happened to anyone else?
Shes 6 1/2 months and she has begun to have this EAr Piercing Screech whenever shes wants something.(usually me) she arches her back and tries to get out of anything that is confining her such as the highchair, excosaucer,ect... she wants to be held and cries alot now too. she was never like this.

Yes, my DD is 7 1/2 months and has been acting the same exact way you described.. It is upsetting because she was always very happy. At times I wonder if teething is just making her more cranky than usual.

OMG....happens all the time. DD is 10 months and started it at about 6 months. I can't wait for the phase to end!!!

yes my DD will be 7 months shortly and started the same thing about 2 weeks ago. She doesn't cry she whines and it gets louder and louder and she arches her back and fights me when she doesn't want to do something. I'm not liking this stage because I hate whining and the little attitude is scary at such a young age. I went to the doctor on Friday and he said that about 6/7 months is when the seperation anxiety sets in. About 2/3 weeks ago my girlfriend went to hold her and she screamed for me and was leaning to get me.

Totally NORMAL!
I think if you look back, you can find one of my posts when Megan was the same age when she started doing this. It made me so nervous, I thought something was wrong with her! She grew out of it and into a next phase. Ive learned (with the help of the wonderful ladies here) that being a mom is about accepting their phases and change..still makes me nervous though!
