DD won't let me put bows in her hair
She finally has enough hair for me to clip it off to the side, but every time I put a clip in she pulls it out and says "nooooo". Her hair is starting to fall in her face a lot and I'm just dying to put bows in her hair! She's 14 months. Anyone else's DD like this and one day actually start letting you "do their hair"?!

DD was and still is like this. She has her days where she will let me put her pigtails in, and days where she says "noooooooo" and there is nothing I can do about it.
I do find that she likes saying "a done!!" when I am finished so I tell her "almost done...almost..." so that helps to distract her.
she is almost 22 months old

Forget it!!! DD won't let me put ANYthing in her hair!! And her bangs are always going in her eyes lately and it drives me NUTS. We're always asking her..."Can I put your hair in a ponytail?" "NOOOOO!" 
Every once in a while I can bribe her and she'll let me put a little clip in, but it hasn't been working recently.
I'll get one in and then I'll hear her from the other room go "Alllll better!" and she's taken it out

She pulls the bows out. I have to use those tiny rubber bands. Most of the time she keep them in. So annoying!!!!

Madelyn is the same way. On the days I actually get her to agree to clips, she insists I put ALL the clips in her hair.
So it's either no clips and ratty hair, or 10 clips and looking like a hot mess.

My DD was born with SO much hair... I've been putting all sorts of things in it since day 1....and I hope as she gets older she will just be so used to it she won't mind or care.

DD is 19 months and doesn't like it when I put things in her hair at all. Every once in a while it will stay for 5 minutes.

DD wouldn't let me touch her hair at ALL! Then, one day when she was about 17 mos, I tricked her and got a rubber band in her hair. Slooowly, she let me do it more and more often. Now (she is 2), she lets me do it pretty much all the time! (she takes her clips out often, though!)
So yes, it IS possible!

Lily used to do that when I was getting her ready for bed because that's where I kept the bows. Once she saw them, she'd keep handing them to me to put in her hair....so I'd have a kid in pajamas with multi-colored bows all over her head!
To the OP...I think it's something they have to get used to. Lily goes through stages where she'll allow me to do her hair...right now is good and she gets pig tails pretty much everyday. If not....she gets to sweat it out under a big ol' head of hair!

My daughter is 17 1/2 months. Every day I make 2 pigtails to keep the hair out of her eyes. Everyday she pulls them out. But, as the days go on, they last longer in her hair. Maybe one day when I pick her up from daycare the pigtails will still be there.

Haha, my dd is 28 months and STILL won't let me put bows in her hair
she will let the sitter do it (sometimes when I pick her up, she has them in) but as soon as she sees me, she asks me to take them out

My 22 month old will not let me at all. One day she let me put in, I showed her in mirror and said pretty. So she kept asking for pretty.. but it only lasted the one day. Now I ask want pretty, she says "no pretty no pretty". Oh well. My family constantly comments that her hair is all over.. but what can I do. she rips them out.. along with her hair.

Chelsea has to be sitting in her highchair with goldfish and dora on in order for me to do her hair. Otherwise she fights me. I use the tiny rubber bands in colors and she never takes them out once they are in. Bows she rips out so we don't use them.
