DD's 2nd birthday party question

Here's my first of sure to be MANY questions. We're probably having the party on a Saturday afternoon at our subdivision's clubhouse. Chat Icon We have the clubhouse from 10-5. I need to set up before-hand. What time should I have the party? I was thinking 11:30-2:30. Is that good? Most kids will be around DD's age (2) and she usually naps at around 1 or 2. Maybe I should move it up to 11-2? What do you all think? I'm new to this party planning stuff. Chat Icon I'm planning on serving buffet style lunch-type food and cake (obviously.) Hopefully I'll find some kind of entertainment to come for part of the time.

Hmmm...I think 12-3 would seem more of a "typical" time and probably what I'd do, but I don't think 30 minutes or an hour one way or the other is a big deal. Is she wild without a nap, or will all the excitement keep her going?

I think my DD will be ok with all that will be going on. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't nap at all that Chat Icon Chat Icon
dayI was trying to think of what will work for the little guests. Is 3 hours the typical time frame? Can you tell that I have no clue? Chat Icon

Re: DD's 2nd birthday party question

I just had Ds's over the weekend and it was from 11am-2pm. I had pizza delivered at noon. DS wound up playing all day long and didn't nap.
