dealing with bloating
im only at 6.5 weeks, so not ready to tell people, and im dealing with serious bloating. i have a flat stomach normally, so it's very noticeable. people wouldn't expect me to just gain wait because im athletic and never fluctuate weight. in addition, it's sooo uncomfortable.
i finally found a cure for the nausea (thank you gingermints!) but what can i do about bloating, if anything?
ETA: i was thinking that after hearing the heartbeat next week of just sharing the news so i dont feel like i need to hide. im just hesitant because of my last miscarriage.

Re: dealing with bloating
It's obvious to you because you're looking at your stomach. Most people won't notice, and if they do, most won't say anything. And if they do? Who cares? It's your news to share when you're ready. And if you aren't ready until your 2nd trimester, then just wait. Also, bloating that early tends to go away so you may look normal again next week.

Re: dealing with bloating
I have yet to find anything that helps it! I wake up in the morning with a tiny bump and by afternoon I look like I am 8 months pregnant. Honestly I just wore baggy flowy sweaters and I don't think anyone noticed at all. Now at 15 weeks I still haven't told all of my coworkers but I am not trying to hide it. If someone notices, they notice. No one who doesn't already know I am pregnant has said anything to me so I really think it looks bigger to me than anyone else.

invest in a B-band. I'm still wearing mine with regular pants/jeans at 22 weeks. You'll get a lot of ues out of it and it will help make your regular clothes more comfy until the bloating goes down.
