Deanna's plan question

I am trying to follow a modified Deanna's plan this month so assuming that I would O on CD14 (I am not using OPK's) what day would I technically receive a "positive" reading??? The plan says to BD every other day starting CD8 but to BD the night you get your positive O reading on an OPK and the two nights after that. Today is CD13 for me (so we have BD CD 8, 10, 12) so do we BD tonight and Saturday night or take a break tonight and BD Sat & Sun?

If you got this far thank you! This is so confusing.

Re: Deanna's plan question

You are supposed to BD the night you get your positive opk, and then the 2 nights after. Take a break the 3rd night, and then BD again the 4th night.

So assuming you would get your positive OPK today for ovulation on CD14. You would BD tonight, tomorrow and sunday night. Nothing on monday, but BD on tuesday.

Good luck!!!Chat Icon

Re: Deanna's plan question

Just a question - Why are you assuming you would O on CD 14? Do you have a 28 day cycle?

If you did O on CD 14, you would probably get a +OPK on CD 12.

Your BD schedule according to Deanna's plan would probably be CD 8, 10, 12, 13, 14.

Re: Deanna's plan question

a positive OPK indicates a surge in lutenizing hormone - that's the stuff that helps the egg to be released from the ovary. Once you get a positive you're likely to ovulate anywhere from 12 to 36 hours after - most often, people get a positive the day before they ovulate.
