Dear bridge/Tunnel/Thruway Commuters

DO NOT STOP AT THE EZ-PASS plaza.

If it says 5 miles an hour, you drive through at 5 miles per hour, if it says, 20 drive through at 20. Do NOT stop.

If you want to stop, please put the little magic computer box away and take out cash like in the olden days. If I wanted to wait on a LINE to pay my toll I would do the same.

I got one for you

if you don't have ezpass- get out of the ezpass lane- waiting to the cop to come over, chat with you, then tell you to pull over- ruins my whole morning and I don't have an extra 5 minutes to sit at the bridge!

This reminds me of when DH and I were driving through the Throgs Neck toll and the EZ Pass light wouldn't go green. I was SO embarassed that we had to hold up the whole line till the cop came over. He asked us if we had EZ Pass and my DH was like "Yeah, right here" as he touches our windshield. The cop looked confused and said "That's not EZ Pass." DH was touching the mirror ... turns out our EZ Pass fell off the window (we use the suction cup holder) and was on the ground. We were so embarassed!!
